Do I need a doctor’s referral to come to physiotherapy?

A referral from your doctor is not required to receive physiotherapy unless you are being treated for an insurance claim where some insurers do require a doctors note. It is best to contact your insurance company first.

How many treatments will I need?

Every condition is individually assessed, based on the person and severity of their condition, and patient activity expectations. You will be advised of an appropriate treatment plan after your initial visit.

How long will I be in the clinic for each session?

Expect to be in the clinic for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

What should I wear?

Whatever you are comfortable in, but it would be helpful to have shorts for foot & knee problems, and sleeveless tops for ladies with shoulder problems.

What are your clinic hours?

Appointments will be made promptly to suit you. Weekend and evening appointments are available. Our opening hours are variable Monday to Sunday.

Have you a good relationship with other medical professionals?

Yes. We have a good working relationship with local GPs and many of the Orthopaedic Consultants and Podiatrists in the area, enabling us the provide a multi-disciplinary approach where necessary.

Is parking available at the clinic?

Yes, we have a large car park in front of the clinics.
